Key points
- The app is an independent study tool, not an official government service.
- Completing the material or earning a score in the app does not guarantee that you will pass the official test.
- Apple manages purchases and refunds.
- The question text and images are used commercially subject to the required source attribution.
- The app must be used personally, lawfully and fairly.
1. The service and its purpose
Theory provides study tools, practice questions, mock exams, mistake review, progress tracking and supporting features for the Israeli driving theory test. It is intended for self-study and does not replace driving lessons, professional advice, certified instruction or official guidance.
In addition to these terms, use of the app is subject to Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement unless a different agreement is displayed on the App Store.
2. Independent status, official sources and attribution
The app is not operated, funded, supported, endorsed or approved by Israel’s Ministry of Transport and Road Safety, the Licensing Authority or any other government body. Signs, terms and references related to the theory test are used only to describe and provide the study service.
The study questions, traffic signs and related images are based on public datasets published by Israel’s Ministry of Transport and Road Safety. Source attribution is provided here, with links to the official sources on gov.il and data.gov.il. Their commercial use is permitted subject to source attribution, and third-party rights in source content remain with their respective owners.
The source datasets and test requirements may change. If the app differs from current government information, rely on the latest official source.
3. Permitted use
You may use the app for personal, noncommercial study in accordance with applicable law and these terms. You must not:
- Copy, distribute, sell or make the app or its content catalog available to the public without permission.
- Bypass purchase, advertising, security or usage-control mechanisms.
- Reverse engineer the app beyond what applicable law expressly permits.
- Use the site or app to harm the service, other users or external providers.
4. Accuracy and currency of study content
We work to present useful and current content, but questions, answers, wording, traffic signs, rules and test requirements may change or contain errors. The content is not legal, safety or professional advice. We do not promise that every question will appear on the official test or that an in-app score will predict the official result.
You can report content that appears incorrect through the Support Center. A clear report with the question number and a screenshot helps us investigate.
5. Purchases, restoration and refunds
The app may offer a one-time Remove Ads purchase. The App Store displays the price, currency and taxes before confirmation. Apple manages billing, purchase verification, family controls and refunds under its terms.
You can use Restore Purchases in the app. If restoration fails, confirm that the device is signed in to the Apple Account used for the purchase and contact support if needed.
6. Ads and external services
The free version may display ads provided by Google. Third parties determine the ad content, availability and destination. Showing an ad does not mean that we recommend or endorse the advertised product or service.
The app and website may link to Apple, Google, Cloudflare or other sites. Use of an external service is governed by that service’s own terms and policies.
7. Availability, compatibility and changes
We may update, change, add, suspend or remove a feature to improve the service, fix a problem, meet store or legal requirements, or respond to technical changes. The service may not be available at all times or on every device, operating-system version or in every country.
8. Responsibility and limitation of liability
The service is provided as is and as available. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we do not promise uninterrupted availability, error-free content or a particular test result. You remain responsible for how you study, obtaining official information, and driving safely and lawfully.
Nothing in these terms limits a mandatory consumer right or liability that cannot be limited under applicable law. Never use the app while driving or in any way that distracts you from the road.
9. Privacy and intellectual property
Information use is described in the Privacy Policy. The app, website, design, code, branding and original materials are protected by intellectual-property laws. Rights in third-party materials, marks and services remain with their owners. Open-source package licenses are available in the iOS Settings app.
10. Governing law and changes to these terms
These terms are interpreted under applicable Israeli law without reducing mandatory consumer protections or rights granted where you live. We may update the terms; the current text and update date will be published on this page.
